An Important Note: Bank Affidavit or Certified Income Statement

The Digital Nomad Visa application must include both the applicant's bank statements for the 12-month period before the application is submitted, AND either an apostilled affidavit from the bank OR a certified income statement from an accredited Costa Rican accountant.

How It Works

Book online & submit your documents

We'll send you clear instructions on exactly what documentation is required, and will follow up to make sure you have everything you need for a successful DNV application.

Procure required translations and income affidavits

We work with official translators and certified accountants in Costa Rica with DNV experience.

Creation of your online account with the government's Tramite Ya! portal

You can stay abreast of all submissions and approvals using the portal.

Submit Step 2 of your visa application

Each step must be submitted separately for government approval, and approval time for each step is up to 15 business days. We submit your fees to the government in person after Step 2 is approved.

Submit Step 3 of your visa application

Once Step 2 is approved, we have 5 business days to submit your Step 3. This is the step in which we will need all relevant bank documentation, certified income statements, and proof of relations.
